News from St Andrew’s, Great Cornard
Just a brief message to let you know that Jamie and family’s last Sunday at St Andrew’s, Great Cornard will be 15th November at 10am – Holy Communion followed by a social time over a soup lunch. We would love you to join us.
Meanwhile, we want to thank you for your prayers for our daughter, Carrie, as she continues her treatment for cancer. We have all been amazed at her response to chemotherapy – Glory to God in the Highest for this healing and the way that the tumor has shrunk away.
We now ask your prayers as the date of her surgery (28th/29th
September) approaches. St Andrew’s is lovingly offering opportunities to pray for Carrie – you are very welcome to drop in when you can, and stay as long as you would like. There will be an evening of prayer for Carrie on 28th Sept – Evening Prayer at 7pm, Quiet Prayer until Compline at 9pm. On Tuesday 29th September, Morning Prayer at 9.30 and then church open through the day ending with Evening Prayer at 6.30pm.
Finally, we do ask your prayers for the Ministry Team and congregation of St Andrew’s as we look ahead to a time of interregnum and to the process of appointing a new vicar to this wonderful parish.
Thank you !
