Eco Church Support Group

17 January 2023 No Comment

This group had its first meeting in the autumn.  The aim is to be a place where people interested in promoting the Eco Church programme in their churches can meet to share experiences and ideas, receive some useful input, encourage one another and pray for each other.  It’s an informal group and welcomes new people to join.

We are indebted to St Lawrence Church, Great Waldingfield for our next two meetings:

Wednesday, 8 February at 10.30 am

We are invited to St Lawrence Church, Great Waldingfield to enjoy the snowdrops in all their glory and tour the neighbouring ‘Branchlines’ community woodland project at Old School Wood.  (I’ve been given a tour and can strongly recommend it).

Wednesday, 22 March at 7.30 pm at St Lawrence Church, Great Waldingfield

when we’ll pool ideas, information and experiences on Greening Christmas (preparing for the next!) and Recycling waste and upcycling.  No pressure … and feel free to come just to take stuff on board, but it would be great if you have ideas to share!

(These meetings were included in the December edition of the Foxearth Meadows News & Prayer Letter but an error crept in – Wednesday, 21 March doesn’t exist – apologies; the correct date is Wednesday, 22 March).

It will be really helpful if you can let me know if you plan to come (and plan to bring anyone with you) so that we can have a handle on numbers for refreshments.
