East Meru Community School, Tanzania – from Gill Phillips
East Meru Community School is helping to educate young children from some of the most disadvantaged families living in the remote rural village of Maruvango, Arusha, Tanzania.
We have a speaker coming to a Summer Social Evening to talk about the work of the school on Tuesday August 11th at 7.30 pm at St John’s Methodist Church.
Everyone is welcome.
There is no charge for this evening but anyone coming might like to bring with them a small item for the school such as , ‘Crayola’ crayons, chunky childrens’ coloured pencils, good quality felt tip pens, children’s scissors, Blue or White Tac, Large Pritt or glue sticks, good quality children’s paint brushes.
There will be an opportunity to make a small financial donation for the school if you prefer.
