Local Drumming in Sudbury

Are you interested in drumming?  Great, then this might be for you.

A new drumming group is starting 7.45pm Wednesday 22 September in All Saints’ Church Hall and then every 4^th Wednesday in the month.

The group is for anyone who would like to join with others and drum.  As well as learning how to play the Djembe drum, we will be exploring how to play rhythms to songs and generally have some fun.  Some drums will be provided, but please feel free to bring whatever percussion you feel you would like to play.

There will be a charge of £3 per session to cover costs.

National Drumming Event in Colchester

Heart to Drum 2010, an annual national event, is this year being held in Colchester on 9 October.  It is a unique opportunity to link up with Christian drummers from the mainstream Christian music scene from across the UK.

As well as drumming and worship, there will also be dance workshops led by inspired dancer Andy Au and Kirsty from Movement in Worship Brighton, who is really leading the field in expressive prophetic Christian dance.

At the one-day event, we are expecting over 300 drummers to gather for a day of inspiring Pro demonstrations, master classes and all-inclusive playing and worship.
