swans‘Times of Refreshing’ – Thursday, 8th October, Sudbury Baptist Church, 10.00 am – 2.00 pm

An opportunity for church leaders of all denominations or none, ordained and lay, to spend time together for the purpose of refreshment in ministry.    The day will begin at 10.00 am with coffee, followed by an extended time of worship.  There will be time then to pray for one another and to hear a speaker who will address ‘ the inner life’ and how we can grow as Christians ourselves.  The day will finish with Lunch provided by the church but we would ask and that you indicate, if possible, whether you intend to come or not. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to the costs of the day – we are aiming to make the event self supporting.

The event is open to ministers and leaders of all churches, particularly those who may be isolated because they are not part of a minister’s support group.

St Mary’s Church, Bocking, are holding a Celebrity Organ and Choral Concert on Saturday 10th October 2009 at 7.30pm featuring Stephen King, organist at Brentwood Cathedral, The Bocking Chorale & Rachel Clapp (Soprano), directed by David Felstead.

All proceeds are in aid of St Mary’s Organ Fund.
