The late contributions have now been counted. This year the final total for Sudbury, Great Cornard and Shimpling, and the service at Great Waldingfield, is £3,877.32. This includes £225 donated via the Sudbury “e-envelope”, £130 given at the service, £45 collected in Little Cornard, and £531 21 from Shimpling which was counted in Sudbury for the first time. Gift Aid will increase the final amount. In addition, some people will have made a direct payment online or by phone.

In 2019, the final figure was £4048.72. There was no envelope collection in 2020. In 2021, the final total was £3,138.14. The increase from last year is an achievement in the current financial climate.

Funds were raised separately in some other local areas.
