Christian Aid Week

The total to last Wednesday stands at £5,225.17. This includes the bucket collection at Tesco (£287.27), the offering at the United Service at Holy Trinity Church, Long Melford, (£174.19) and a special collection at Sudbury Baptist Church (£40).

Late donations will increase the figure, and Gift Aid will provide a further boost.

This compares favourably to last year’s final total of £5260.93.

Individual amounts and the final total will be available later.
