Can you help? – a message from Ruth Ridge.

18 July 2023 No Comment

I had a call yesterday from Nadia, a research student at Hertford, who asked if I might be able to circulate details of an online survey that is informing her research into faith and wellbeing.  I wondered whether we might be able to circulate the link and information below to the St John’s network and via Church News.  The deadline for the survey is next Sunday.

I’ve completed the survey.  It takes about 15 mins, is anonymous and contains clear details of the student, the study and how information is handled.  You can opt out at any time.  Having been a student in need of statistics for research.  I’m aware that it can be difficult to get a response and if even a few take this up I’m sure it would help.

God bless.

Ruth.

Student Research Project Request:

My name is Nadia, and I am currently studying the Research in Clinical Psychology MSc at the University of Hertfordshire.

My supervisor and I have a keen interest in religion, mental health and wellbeing. To this end, we are carrying out an online study (https://herts.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6EWnD8qWuUgpX2C),  and were hoping that your establishment would kindly offer to participate.

The study is comprised of survey-style questions and will not take longer than 15 minutes. It informs an under-researched area of psychology and its association to religion and the final dissertation will be available to anyone who wants to see the end product. The entire study has gone through a rigorous ethical approval process prior to launching and all data will be kept confidential. We are aiming to close the study after midnight on the 23rd.

Many thanks,
Nadia.
