Sunday 11th May, 6.30 pm at St John’s Methodist Church, York Road, Sudbury.

The Revd Richard Stainer, World Development Adviser for our Anglican diocese, will be the speaker.

All are welcome! Please come along, and bring others with you.

Christian Aid Week runs from Sunday 11 May to Saturday 17 May. We are most grateful to those who have volunteered to deliver envelopes in this area.

We have a special day coming up soon at Foxearth Meadows nature reserve.  It will include opportunities to learn about and experience our local conservation work and to hear about the wider work of A Rocha UK.  Both the CEO Andy Atkins and the Conservation Director Andy Lester will be with us.

 After much prayer (and very little money) Joanne & I stepped out in faith and  started the Sudbury Community Depot in 2017 to offer support to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. 

 Like many charities and Community projects,  The Sudbury Community Depot is struggling to keep its financial head above water. 

We have just had another large increase in the rent we pay The Christopher Centre for our rooms there.

We are delighted to welcome James Nickols as our guest speaker at the next Filling Station meeting on Thursday May 15th at 7-30pm.

James is the Filling Station Regional Consultant for this area and has a heart to see God’s people equipped and gifted by the Holy Spirit.

There are over 70 Filling Stations in the United Kingdom which meet on weekday evenings, in a neutral venue and are for Christians from across the denominations.

Tuesday, 6 May·10:00 – 16:00.

All Saints Church, Keddington Hill, Little Cornard, Suffolk CO10 0PE.

On the first Tuesday of each month throughout the year we have First Tuesday Cafe Church, when the Church is unlocked from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00p.m., making it available for anyone to visit for peace and quiet contemplation. In the Schoolroom we provide refreshments and lunch. This is open to everyone to come and go as they please, offering friendship and hospitality.

This Saturday, 26 April we are at Little Cornard Church, Kedington Hill, CO10 0PE.

We meet on Saturdays from 8 to 9.30am for a light breakfast, a time of fellowship and a time for prayer.

On 3 May we are at St Gregory’s Church, Sudbury.

Do join us if you can. You will be most welcome, whether you have never been before, or have not been for a couple of years, or are a regular!

Kettle & Fish is a Christian Community Café. Volunteer helpers come from various local churches. It is usually open every Thursday except the first in the month.

Kettle & Fish is open this Thursday, 24 April. Please do drop in and see us then.  We will be serving the same delicious food and providing the same friendly welcome as always, 10am to 1.30pm at Suffolk Road Church, next to Aldi.

You are invited to a CTiS&D Forum featuring Future Vision entitled Sharing Faith in School on Tuesday 29th April 2025.

7.00pm  for teas or coffees – 7.30pm start of Meeting.

We begin with worship and news from the host church.

Then we will hear from chaplains, school workers and trustees about the work Future Vision is doing in local schools.
