A Prayer Walk for Ascension Day, Thursday 29 May, at Foxearth Meadows nature reserve.

From 6.30 pm: Come and relax with your own picnic.

The Prayer Walk (led by the Rev. Ruth Ridge) will begin at 7.30 pm.

All are very welcome. No booking required. Directions are on the poster.

The Sudbury Society Andrew Phillips Memorial Lecture at Sudbury Arts Centre in St. Peter’s, Thursday 29th May 2025, 7pm (doors 6.30 pm).

Tickets in advance £10 + booking fee from www.sudburyartscentre.com/whats-on , or from St Peter’s Thursday to Saturday 10.30 am – 3pm but not 22 & 23 May.

Unfortunately, this event falls on Ascension Day, when some churches hold evening services, and there is the Prayer Walk at Foxearth Meadows.

Evensong will be held at St. Mary’s, Chilton, at 4pm on the third Sunday of each month during the summer, starting from 18 May 2025 and continuing until 21 September 2025.

St Mary’s is situated in Church Field Road, Sudbury CO10 2ZB. Parking is usually available at Suffolk Court, the offices of SkyView Systems.

This Saturday, 10 May, we are at Great Waldingfield Church.

We meet on Saturdays from 8 to 9.30am for a light breakfast, a time of fellowship and a time for prayer.

On 17 May we are at All Saints’ Church Hall, Church Street, Sudbury.

Do join us if you can. You will be most welcome, whether you have never been before, or have not been for a couple of years, or are a regular!

Kettle & Fish is a Christian Community Café. Volunteer helpers come from various local churches. It is usually open every Thursday except the first in the month.

Kettle & Fish is open this Thursday, 8 May. Please do drop in and see us then.  We will be serving the same delicious food and providing the same friendly welcome as always, 10am to 1.30pm at Suffolk Road Church, next to Aldi.

Read the notes from the Forum on 29 April 2025 here .

We heard about the work of Future Vision in local schools, including Open the Book retelling bible stories, Chaplaincy at TGS, and the role of the trustees.

The next Forum will be held on Tuesday 8th July 2025 at Little Waldingfield Church.

Glemsford Methodist Church, Tye Green, Glemsford, CO10 7RH.

Homemade cakes, information stalls, children’s activities and more!

All funds will go to the Christian Aid Week Appeal.

There may be some parking available at the Village Hall opposite the church, if needed.
