Welcome to the website of Churches Together in Sudbury and District, in Suffolk, UK.

In October 2022, we adopted the strapline One Church, One Faith, One Lord to clarify our purpose.visit website

We are an active group of more than 25 churches, meeting regularly for prayer, worship and discussion. We run or support many local community initiatives including Kettle & Fish, where you will find refreshments, spiritual support and information about our activities, most Thursdays from 10am to 1.30pm.

Ruth Ridge has set up an email prayer network to circulate requests, resources, and good news stories that are sent to her.

Zoom Prayer Meetings are continuing on Saturdays, 9 to 10am.

The sessions usually consist of news from various churches and individuals, followed by a period of prayer where spoken contributions are optional.

New members are very much welcomed!

The Prayer Supper that was due to be held this Thursday (21 October 2021) has been cancelled or postponed, as there was insufficient support at this time.

Kettle & Fish continues this week at Suffolk Road Church.  Please do drop in and see us.  We will be serving the same delicious food and providing the same friendly welcome as always, 9.45am-1.45pm at Suffolk Road Church, next to Aldi.

Whilst renovations are taking place in St Peter’s, Kettle and Fish will be in Suffolk Road Church on these Thursdays: 21, 28 October,  11, 18,  25 November, 9, 16 December. Further dates will be announced later.

Sudbury achieved Fairtrade status in the spring of 2013 with the support of the Town Council and other community organisations. John Boardman and a small committee were behind this move.

The group is aiming to increase its membership and to raise the profile of Fairtrade locally. If you or anyone you know has a passion for promoting Fairtrade, please contact Malcolm via ctis.news@gmail.com .
