TRAINING COURSE – “IN HIS NAME”

5 August 2010 305 views No Comment

We are proposing to run an eight-week programme for those people who feel called to the ministry of prayer for healing entitled ‘In His Name’ written by Alison Morgan and John Woolmer and published by Resource which ‘is a ministry with an Anglican distinctive, seeking to serve the church across denominations and traditions through teaching, training, and encouraging people to renew their lives and church through the power of the Holy Spirit, so that God’s message of life-changing love reaches out to others.’ The programme will be run by The Revid Greg Webb and The Very Rev’d Martin Thrower, Dean of St Mary the Virgin, Hadleigh on the dates set below. We are yet to confirm the venue but it is likely to be Sudbury. This training may possibly be used within your own church but this will naturally be at the discretion of the person in charge of the ministry (ie the minister of the church, or the relevant person at Kettle & Fish).

Dates (6 evenings and one day):

The evenings of 23 September, 30 September, 14 October, 21 October from 7.30 – 9.30pm. Saturday 23 October from 10am – 3pm (2 sessions), 28 October and either the evening of 04 or 11 November.

We are asking for a donation of £10 per attendee towards the course which includes a course handbook and refreshments (tea/coffee).  Please find attached full details of the course.  Closing date is 7th September 2010 and bookings are essential via Lynda.
