The Fellowship Football League

15 June 2009 339 views No Comment

The Fellowship Football league is a Christian football league based in Sudbury. Many of the players and teams represent local churches and Christian organisations. There are nine teams involved in all.

Our season climaxes on Monday 22nd June, when we host our knockout cup final on the all-weather playing surface, at Great Cornard Sports Centre. “Anglicans United” (a team which represents All Saints, Sudbury) take on “Icthus” (a team with representatives from a number of churches in the Bury St Edmunds area).

We warmly invite everyone from the local churches to come along and cheer on the lads. The game kicks-off at 8pm. There will be some free buffet style food laid on in the sports centre cafe after the game.

More information about the league is available on our web-site www.fellowshipfootball.co.uk .
