Suffolk Theology Forum

12 September 2012 No Comment

Suffolk Theology Forum meets on Wed 3 October 7.30pm at St Michael’s, Martlesham Heath IP5 3PL. The Revd. Dave Tomlinson will speak on How to be a bad Christian…and a better human being: a theology of reckless grace. This is the first meeting of our new season.

Dave Tomlinson is the author of The Post-Evangelical and Re-enchanting Christianity. He was a house church leader for many years before founding Holy Joe’s, a church in a Clapham pub for disaffected churchgoers. He is now Vicar of St Luke’s, Holloway, a thriving parish in north London. He was packed out at Greenbelt. We can be sure of a lively and challenging evening.

Suffolk Theology Forum is for all who want to explore issues of Christian theology in an open, non-partisan way. Annual subscription £20 (£16 students, retired or unwaged) is payable on 3 Oct and gives free entrance to all 5 meetings, saving you £5! Otherwise entrance per meeting is £5 (£4 concessions). St Michael’s Church is signposted off the A12 at Martlesham Tesco roundabout. Free parking adjacent. No need to book – just turn up.

We hope to see you in October or later in the season. The full programme for 2012 / 13 is here http://www.ctsuffolk.org.uk/Suffolk%20Theology%20Forum%20Programme%20%202012-2013.pdf

With all good wishes,
