FUN IN THE PARK!
Sunday 25th July: Town Pastors and Men In Christ ran the BBQ at Sudbury’s Party in the Park – Bellevue, here are a few words about it…..
Where was Frank Marsden? Some say that he was at Bellevue Park barbequing 400 burgers – but I didn’t see him! All I saw was a continuous cloud of smoke with an occasional sighting of a flaming spatula and the oft coded message to the flames – “3 cheese, 2 without…”
The end result of Frank’s endeavours was to raise over £700 which will be shared between the Town Pastors and Men In Christ AND to finish the afternoon smelling like a smoked kipper (or should I say a quarter-pounder!)
Well done to Frank, the Averys and all the volunteers!
