Nearly 40 people heard Revd John Boardman explain how Sudbury could become a Fairtrade town, thereby guaranteeing fair pay and conditions to the producers of a wide range of products – including the cotton tee-shirt and trousers he was wearing.

There was news of many of the activities of Churches Together in the Sudbury area, and we heard the latest developments in the campaign to maintain health facilities in the town.

The full minutes will be available soon.
