We’ll be starting our next course with a Launch Party on Wednesday 25th September, 7.30 – 9.00pm at the Vineyard Centre

The Launch party is a fantastic opportunity to explore what the course involves. It’s also about getting to know people and the team in a relaxed, informal setting. The evening will consist of some homecooked food and couple of games of chocolate bingo and a short talk about Alpha, and even better it’s completely free!

Wow it’s a very busy summer holidays here at Storehouse. We have seen an increase in the number of children we are feeding who would otherwise get free school meals. But due to your generosity we have been able to provide emergency food bags to everyone in need. In July we received over 5,000 items of food and we’ve needed every item.

We are holding a large sale of second-hand books in our church over the forthcoming August Bank Holiday weekend in aid of general funds. This is probably one of the largest church book sales in East Anglia (and it is not just 4,000 of the usual paperbacks – we have some really good volumes). Please display poster where possible.

We are delighted to welcome Gill Lee as our guest speaker to The Filling Station on Thursday 22nd August. 

Having raised her family, Gill gained a degree in theology before training as a Baptist Minister. She then led a number of churches around the country. She now lives in Suffolk. Gill is an exellent speaker and gifted Bible teacher.

Phil and I are hoping to relocate to Yorkshire next year. We have therefore, decided not to continue running the Sudbury Area Cancer Support Group after the end of this year.
