This Saturday 15 December we are at Wells Hall Old School, Great Cornard, hosted by St Andrew’s, 8 to 9.30am as usual for a light breakfast and a time of prayer.

The next Prayer Breakfast after that is on Saturday 12 January at 98 Melford Road, hosted by Judith & Malcolm Offord on behalf of All Saints’, Sudbury.

Sudbury Churches Together welcomed Zeina Zakar from one of Christian Aid’s partners in Lebanon, Association Najdeh, to Sudbury on Monday 26 November.  She spoke simply and movingly about her work to support Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, an overlooked group of people, some of whom have been there for decades.  Through people’s support for Christian Aid, Association Najdeh brings psychological support, education and counselling to thousands of children and ..read more

We are delighted to welcome Maurice as our guest speaker to The Filling Station on Thursday 13th December.

Maurice is the author of several books and preaches regularly in churches across the denominations. He has a heart to see the church transformed and the nation rebuilt.

Currently, there are over 90 Filling Station’s meeting nationwide, once a month, on weekday evenings, in neutral venues with the aim of bringing Christians together for praise, testimony, Bible teaching and prayer ministry.

Training evening at Sudbury Baptist Church, tomorrow Wed. Dec. 12th starting at 7.30pm, and finishing at 9.30pm. It is also an opportunity for anyone who may be interested in becoming involved, to find out more, be that as a Town Pastor, or in a supportive role at Prayer Base, or as a Home Pray-er.

The Advent Trail in Sudbury runs until 22nd December.  This year it takes the form of a quiz based on the Jesse Tree with pictures in many shops.  Leaflets are available from the Tourist Information Centre in the library on Market Hill. There is an event at St Peter’s to hand out prizes on 22nd December 10am-12midday.  Please pray that the trail and this event will be a way of spreading the Christmas message to families in Sudbury.
