Thank you all so much for your fantastic response to our recent urgent appeal for food. We received an extra 1,500 items in May compared to April which has just about kept up with demand. Please keep donating what you can as the demand remains high (see poster for this month’s figures).

We have now opened a new Donation Station at Sainsbury’s Sudbury, so we are hoping to receive additional items regularly from there.

This Saturday, 8 June, Prayer Breakfast is again at Suffolk Road Church, this time organised by Ruth Ridge – 8 to 9.30am as usual for a light breakfast and a time of prayer.

Next Saturday, 15 June, Prayer Breakfast is at Wells Hall Old School, hosted by St Andrew’s.

Prayer Breakfast on 6 July will be at Cornard Christian Fellowship.

Our speaker this year is Victor Jack – well known to many of us through his involvement with Sizewell Hall and as a Counties Evangelist. Worship will be led by the Cornard Christian Fellowship musicians. All are welcome.

Come on Pentecost People – let’s celebrate Pentecost together next Sunday evening – first at All Saints  – but please note that parking at All Saints’ will be reserved for those taking part in the service. Alternative sites – Blackfriars, under Ballingdon Street railway bridge.

And then for Bow Down at 9pm on the Market Hill. Come and join in this national wave of prayer and make Sudbury aware that its Christians really care for it.

Our “forum” on July 11th is going to take the form of a prayer supper. It is being held at St Andrews, Great Cornard, and will start at 7.00 with a hot supper followed by a (short) business meeting and then a time devoted to prayer.
