SVV Christmas Hampers Online Shop is Launched
Some of you may be aware that Stour Valley Vineyard has been involved since its inception with serving the poor in our community through its outward-focused projects such as Storehouse. Working through referrals from social services, housing trusts and other voluntary organisations, it provides weekly emergency food bags, a furniture recycling service and CAP money courses. Open the Book
Do you want to share your love of the Bible with children?
Not sure how to do it?
Then join over 25 volunteers taking ‘Open The Book’ assemblies into 8 of our schools.
Training will be given to deliver this nationally recognised material.
Each assembly takes less than 15 minutes and in that time a Bible story is told and a prayer is said.
Each school is visited every two weeks throughout the academic year.

CAP Money is a free 3 week course “To get you back in control of your money”. It features weekly DVD presentations to teach budgeting skills and a simple cash-based system.

A group for those with learning disabilities and wanting to know more about the Christian faith.
We meet at All Saints Church Hall, Church Street, Sudbury on the fourth Monday of each month from 7.30pm – 8.45pm.

Christian Aid: March for Justice
The event is to support some 400 million Dalits (untouchables) in India who are demanding the right to own land, so as to escape from poverty.
Christian Aid will be organising three marches in the East of England. On Saturday 1 October they will take place in Peterborough and Norwich and on Saturday 8 October in Bury St Edmunds.
